What this means in practice

When you click a “View on Amazon” button on this site and then buy something, Amazon pays us a small percentage of the sale. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you had gone to Amazon directly — the commission comes out of Amazon's margin, not your pocket.

How it affects what we publish

It does not change our verdicts. Every machine on this site has a “what to consider” section listing its real weaknesses, and we publish those whether or not they cost us a sale. We do not accept payment from manufacturers for a review, a score or a place in a guide, and no brand has been given the opportunity to review our copy before publication.
